What we believe about Children’s Ministry:

We believe that our children are the Christian leaders of tomorrow and an important part of the church today. We are committed to providing a safe and caring environment in which we will encourage all aspects of each child’s development: physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual. It is our desire to nourish not only their developing bodies, but also their developing faith.

Birth – preschool age

At Baby Central each week you will find a staffed, modern child care area. We utilize both a consisitent paid nursery staff and a volunteer staff to care for these littlest ones of our church family.

When you arrive at the nursery a nursery worker or volunteer will greet you. You will find a sign in book for you to check your child into the nursery. Near the door you will also find daily report sheets. We ask that you fill out a form each week for each child. This form details such things as feedings, diaper changing and any special instructions. This allows you to communicate with the nursery staff and the staff to communicate with you afterwards.

After you have signed in your child you will be given a pager with a number assigned to your child. This will allow us to contact you in the event your child becomes upset or ill. When you return to check out your child after the services, please present the pager to the nursery worker and your child will be brought to meet you at the door.

KID’s PRAISE

Sundays @ 10:30 a.m.

High energy Bible lesson and worship time for Preschool Kid’s

Kid’s who are present for Bible Study will automatically be in this worship time if not picked up by 10:30 a.m.

This weekly preschool worship is held in the preschool department.

HANDS-ON-BIBLE CLASS

Wednesdays @ 6:30 p.m.

Interactive class for preschool kids during our weekly Oasis service.

Currently meeting in the Preschool I room.

KID’S WORSHIP

Sundays @ 10:30 a.m.

K-6 th grade

High energy worship service for grade school kids that teaches the principles and

practices of God’s Word on an age appropriate level. Many different approaches are used to teach in this area in an effort to reach all learning styles.

KID’s BIBLE STUDY

Kid Central offers Sunday morning Bible Study groups for kids of all ages concurrent with the Adult Bible Study at 9:00 a.m.

5 th – 6 th grade ministry.

Meets weekly at 9:00 a.m. for group time.

Special group activities are scheduled for this group to begin to grow together during this stage of life.

Sundays @ 6:00 p.m.

3yrs old through 6 th grade

We utilize Awana as part of our children’s programming because of it’s focus and priority of scripture memorization. We believe God’s Word to be the tool most need by our kids today. Awana helps get the Word into the hearts of the kids.
