“This is what the LORD says: ‘Stand at The Crossroads & look, ask for the ancient paths, & walk in them, & you will find rest for your souls.’” Jeremiah 6:16
Definition of crossroads (Biblical and Webster’s)
We all face certain crossroads throughout our lives; but perhaps none so crucial as those faced during the teenage years. It is during this season of life that the choices we make can have such a long-lasting, even eternal impact on our lives – for better or for worse. That is why we have chosen Jeremiah 6:16 as our theme verse, and student ministry namesake. Consider this your special invitation to join us at… The Crossroads.
At The Crossroads we are D.R.I.V.E. n by a God-given desire to make D isciples by R eaching students with the power of The Gospel, I nvesting in their lives through the fellowship of His Word & His people, helping them to V isualize their God-given ministry, while E xalting God through lifestyle worship.
We strive to fulfill this desire through a variety of ministry opportunities. L.A.B.S. (Life Application Bible Study) meet every Sunday morning from 9:00-10:00 a.m. We have graded classes with a graded curriculum that is designed to cover what we consider to be some of the core values and beliefs essential for students to have a firm grasp on by graduation.
D.R.I.V.E.time is our weekly student celebration that meets from 6:00-7:30 p.m. every Sunday night. DRIVEtime includes Biblical teaching and preaching that goes much deeper than just a surface devotional, student led music, prayer, drama, small group ministry and more. Monthly events that include service projects, conferences, mission trips, fund-raisers, and other activities (such as hiking, paintball, video scavenger hunts, and float trips) also make up a vital part of our student ministry landscape. We also have a number of Ministry teams that provide meaningful opportunities for people of all ages to make an eternal impact on this generation for the glory of God. |
